Might come under a bit of stick for this, but IMO those two HAVE to start against Northampton.

Good finish by Byron, difficult angle, did well.

Quality finish, Gornell's was lucky but I won't complain. Curo should have had two today, spurned both so that's why I'm thinking H+G should start.

Gornell was fantastic today. Great run for his goal, too.

Disagree, we need to play all three, not one of them deserves to be dropped.

Gornell is like a young Neil Grayson but with a little more technique!

Away? I wouldn't, can't drop Deering after tonight either!

Agree with Robin, all 3 need to be played as Northampton have been shipping goals all season.

Did Deering do much other than get tactically taken out? A few good passes but seemed to struggle to get in the game.

I thought he had a great game tonight, really busy and if he had been brought on on Saturday for the last 15 minutes we would not have lost that game because he would have kept there midfield occupied.

Fair enough. I remember him trying a few shots when he shouldn't have that went nowhere.

They way Gornell powered into their box he was either going to get taken out for a penalty or get a goal, I'll choose to ignore the fortuitous deflection that looped it over their keeper ;-)

Deering was a lot better when they went down to ten men (after some great play to force the guy to take him out). He needs a lot more space and time than he's going to get. That's his issue. Once the pitch opened up he was a lot better.

Thought Deering had a good game, links up well and busy. ( never hoofs it ).
Cureton has to start, of all our strikers he will normally take his chances and WILL be our top scorer.

I reckon Byron will be our top scorer.

So can I presume that, as that post has been on this forum for about 8 hours and no mods have come on to censor you, we are all free to point out spelling and grammar errors again.

All three strikers should be used in my view, though not at the same time. If they each average an hour a game during the season, they'll keep banging them in and stay fresh.
