We're traditionally a non-league team playing a few years above our natural level.......since when was 15 years a few?

We should win. Only way we won't is if we are not as up for it as much as they are.
Luton two years ago and Turnip replay a year ago were similar and we showed our bottle.
It will be tough but players like Penn and Cureton should be professional enough to get the job done.

I thought that was one of of Summerfield and Pack best games together in midfield. The solid Steve Elliot was out for this one due to injury and the goals we conceded were sloppy, but our football league class was clearly visable to see against the non-leaguers.Robin wrote:I actually felt like they caused us all sorts of problems at a time when we had been looking extremely solid.

Derby to Tamworth is about 20 mins, with Burton in between the two so not too far but I cannot believe Tamworth usually plan fixtures around Derby games - different counties so would they not have different police forces?
Saturday or Sunday a Ruby win is all I care about.

the police planning will have been in place for the Derby game since June/July and indeed Villa who are also at home to Cardiff so cup games will take second preference.RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:Derby to Tamworth is about 20 mins, with Burton in between the two so not too far but I cannot believe Tamworth usually plan fixtures around Derby games - different counties so would they not have different police forces?

Good point....Hereford bodies all over the place would mean more paper work for them.Taz1985 wrote:I believe the concern in Burton being at home to Hereturd.
Cannot see any police force wanting us all on the same trains up that way.

Maybe TV bods think it's less chance of an upset, and Fleetwood are a less known team than the Cobblers.Ralph wrote:well if that is, why not GCFC v FleetwoodMalabus wrote:Bishop Stortford v Northampton is a TV game.
But yes, I would choose GCFC.

Trickster - way we played today any of the other 78 clubs in the draw would have beaten us, home or away.
The way some of you were talking all we had to do was turn up, I was the one saying we had to approach the game with the right attitude, but we didn't.solihullkev wrote:Trickster - way we played today any of the other 78 clubs in the draw would have beaten us, home or away.
and there lies the problem - basically WE DIDNT TURN UP...trickster wrote:The way some of you were talking all we had to do was turn up, I was the one saying we had to approach the game with the right attitude, but we didn't.

We would have had a good local derby in Round 2.
I look forward to seeing Tamworth vs Bristol City on TV - looks the pick of the draws:
