i agree with most of what you have written baggy especially about Harrison who is big enough to give back a bit of bullying but just did not seem to be bothered.
But I have no idea what this means, and you appear to have edited the original post and deleted the next line.......
As an aside anyone recognise Prince Pies, I mean Nas? Holy ****!!!!

Refer to the boxing thread in non footy Dave and you'll see. Self titled Prince Naseem, Bolton's finest has had one too many Lancashire hot pots since hanging up the mitts.

I also thought it was an entertaining game, exasperated that we couldn’t convert our chances into a score, relieved that their best effort slammed against the post, but felt that Newport were a decent side, playing good controlled football and to their strengths. We still relied on ‘hoofball’ to clear our ranks which as usual led no-where. Harrison was “contained” early on, so became frustrated and therefore wasn’t as effective as in previous games. Elliot for me was outstanding, clearly MoM [I haven’t checked any site yet – the match days sponsors mom is usually ‘the joke of the day’!]] Taylor, not my favourite player put in a decent shift; Cureton [jury still out but I’m not convinced…] should have easily buried one of his chances.; Noble not a deadball specialist; Deering ran himself ragged, sadly too lightweight; Germaine should have been brought on much earlier. The much maligned CBB was exposed by their winger, but made some good runs forward. Pleased to see Sido back to something near to his usual self. I hope MY will get couple of others practising deadball situations before Tuesday; we really should be better at corners and freekicks - woeful yesterday. Moderately optimistic, but I don’t think we will be anywhere near the playoffs!

Having seen it this morning, and rewound it to watch it again, I firmly believe the ball doesn't even touch the line let alone get over it.

agree with that, but were good at what they did, sometime long some times running with the ball. two areas were we are poor this season.

I thought it was a good game and a big improvement from us, it also shows what a small divining line there is, if they’d scored instead of hitting the post all that went before it would have disappeared into depression, if Cureton had scored instead of the keeper saving the shot confidence would have gone up another dozen notches instead of 2 or 3, but it was a much better all round performance.

As Dave suggested on another thread - for the love of God can we end this petty feud now as it's boring.

As for your latest dig:

I didn't comment on the match nor hi-jack. I made three posts, none to do with the match as I was not there, and each in direct response to another existing comment or question on the thread.

Hopefully the moderators will delete both of your posts (the one I quote and the one following this) and this one by me as they really are an unnecessary waste of time for both us to have written and for others to have read.

sorry if the hat fits you Dave
I do actually realise that you were asking what the post from baggy meant but there are so many hijackers on here they all think its them. I assure you it was not specifically aimed at RCS unless of course you can prove otherwise

The problem is that some people have to always have the last word so I will leave it to them to post but I will bring it back to the topic.
I thought each team cancelled each other out without much scoring threat from either side

Newport beating high flyers Chesterfield 3-1. Good side, fancy them to make the play-offs.

A battling performance after an even 1st.half Chesterfield should have won this easily, but a disputed penalty and sending off allowed Newport to cling on to the points, but they didn`t impress.
