It`s another instance of Yates tinkering with personnel and tactics,i think he should have made his mind up by now what system is best for the players at his disposal.
But Cotterill was notorious for chopping and changing to plan against a particular side. Griffin playing as sweeper to man-mark Zamora being a prime example.
Normal practice to negate certain strengths of opposition,as is ability to make tactical changes during game.

But when Yates does it it's because he doesn't know his team and is a sign of panic?
