Another goal for Sammy - he's turned into a prolific scorer since leaving here...

Antonio - He had a weird running style and took foul throw ins every time, looked half decent, glad he's made it.

Scotty in goal for Aberdeen tonight on BT Sport-I'm sure I saw him shouting at his defence too.

A Cheltenham double Scott Brown in goal and Jonny Hayes scores the only goal of the game, good goal by Hayes he’s making a name for himself north of the border, Scott Brown expectedly looked a little rusty but a good game to make your debut in Motherwell only managed one shot on target, I’m very surprised how poor the standard is I think some of these teams would struggle in league 1.

Aberdeen's regular No. 1 was surprisingly axed for the match, so after a clean sheet on his League debut you would hope that Brown would get a run in the team now.

Well done Scotty!

A quick update on Scott brown who is grabbing his chance with Aberdeen (my other team) with both hands so far and will be facing Celtic on Sunday.

He has started the last three games for the Dons (2 league & 1 cup) and has yet to concede after 360 minutes of first team football this season. The Aberdeen support is reserving judgement on Scott as he has not had too much to do in the games he's played in so far and did look a little rusty or nervous in the first couple of games. But in the end all he can do is keep a clean sheet.

Its a massive game for Scott this weekend, while Celtic have struggled so far this season by their standards. Brown will definitely be tested at the weekend and if he stands up to the challenge he could be well on the way to securing the GK jersey at his new club for the foreseeable future.

On a side note. Jonny Hayes has been player of the season so far up in Aberdeen, having a really good season.

A few links below if you want to follow how Scott is doing in Aberdeen:

Last match - One of the most one sided 1-0s you will see. Scott makes a save around the 3:50 mark

re: Scott Brown
He definitely seems to be very calm, no flapping, no rushing to hoof the ball downfield. his kicks go straight and he actually rolls the ball out to full backs.
Are you sure this is the same Scott P Brown? :P
