Wynter has been recalled by Steve C

So do we need to replace him
We are of course without Taylor for the next 2 but Hall must be about to get named on the bench

Wynter has done OK but I am sure that Hanks is as good if not better
If everyone else is available for saturday no need to get a loanee in at this point
We are a bit light on numbers a striker is the priority

So go with
Carson
Brown Taylor Elliot
Vaughan Hanks Richaards Omari CBB
Gornell and Harrison

subs gould black deaman haworth kotwica marquis and the new striker

Marquis ahead of Harrison and I'd agree. Maybe even Kotwica ahead of Sterling-James - he's a big lad and is happy cutting inside from the wing, so why not?

Shame about Wynter - he looked steady and decent.

All of a sudden we look a bit short on numbers, I would put Black in ahead of Sterling-James. I feel this game will be similar to the Bury game, need to get in their faces and close down the space, I feel OSJ can make an impact off the bench but Black could get the nod for being a steady player.

Didn't Troy Brown play as a DM for Aldershot?

I imagine as this is simply the end of his one month loan he's going back as a kind of formality then will be returning in the very near future.

I am disappointed by the about turn on loan players, we were told we wouldn't bring getting them in like last season. Already we can see the folly of trying to go through a season with a succession of loanees - ok to cover for injuries, but you cannot build a team around them.

If Hall gets fit and Taylor stays on the pitch I do not think Wynter would make the team.I would rather see Haworth,Hanks and our young players used.

Haworth looks a good signing

p.s. If Pack is not making the first team I doubt Wynter will.

Not too worried with Wynter going back (to cover Bobby Reid going on loan to Plymouth). We have enough in midfield to cope with Hall to come back from injury and Di Vita now in. If Wynter does come back in October, then great, but what we really need now is a striker.

I said weeks ago I don't see where he fits into the team. The odd thing for me is if it's anywhere then quite possibly as the front of a midfield three yet we choose Paul Black ahead of him yesterday :?
