Had a good chat with a couple of the players and you can tell they are hungry for the season to start. Had a feeling that they want to work hard and get up to the top of the league, they know its going to be tough but they seem determined.
Dillon asked what the crowd is like and i said we do get behind the team and used to have a real rapport with players but that seemed to have died off in recent years. He says the Gaffer wants that back and the players want us as the extra player.
He was interested in the history of the club in the football league and could tell it means a lot for us to get back there.
I do believe we the supporters can help the players and they in turn will fight for the club.
Now is the time to say "fresh start, get behind the players, make some noise and lets fight for a common goal of getting CTFC back in the football league."

I know it's easy to say but I do feel that there is something good bubbling away at the club once again.alwaysarobin wrote:Had a good chat with a couple of the players and you can tell they are hungry for the season to start. We seem to have a group of players that care, they have that hunger and appetite that has been distinctly lacking for a good couple of years.
As a fan I don't expect to win every single game but I do expect 100% effort and I think this is what we'll get from the group the Gary has assembled.
We've long reminisced about the SC era but it's time for a new crop to rewrite themselves in Cheltenham Town football folklore
Some good posts above, for the first time since the SC days there is a real intent and unity around the place. Almost everyone I speak to seems quietly confident we will finish top five, as fans we need to play our part and make it intimidating for some of these teams who will regularly play infront of crowds less than half the size of ours to come here.
