Although primarily a centre half Parslow can also play anywhere across back four so there are options....
Parslow looks to be no nonsense, wouldn't say I can imagine him playing at left or right back.
If he did it would be as a defensive option rather than offensive, which would likely make us more predictable as an attacking threat down the other side.

Agree. Though also gives the option of three at the back and push the fullbacks on more (if that's possible!)
I was just saying, any of them could be an effective 3 as long as Storer is in there. If we were to play a 3 on Saturday, not that I think we will, I'd have Storer, Munns and Pell at the moment, until Hall has played a full 90 at least.

GJ will put Parslow to rb and Barth to lb in a few games time with new lad at CH. Bowen who has done no wrong will be loaned out .

Was hoping this would be about a winger.

I'd be surprised if Dickie has been sent on loan without promises that he'd get some chances.
He has played right back for our U21s on occasion and he's very good on the ball so could even do a job in midfield, but centre back is definitely his best position. Quick, strong, good on the ball. Hyperbolically nicknamed the Basingstoke Beckenbauer because of his tendency to carry the ball out from the back. There are some questions over his reading of the game but he should be more than good enough at your level, particularly for a Gary Johnson side.

so that will be every one of our "kids" out on loan, and only three of last seasons squad here after that (Vaughan, Wynter & Richards), GJ clearly wants his own squad -horlickfanclub wrote:GJ will put Parslow to rb and Barth to lb in a few games time with new lad at CH.
