I see the club picked up a nice cheque for £75k at the end of season National League awards at Celtic Manor this weekend (in addition to the merited individual player and manger awards)

I didn't think we got any financial reward for winning the title (League status being more than sufficient) so this £75k will be a nice boost to the coffers

Pleased to see this. I was told on here there was no prize money. Justice for the Champs.

Great stuff.

The best players, managers, and team in the league duly recognised.

Blimey, that is a significant amount of cash. A couple of hundred season tickets worth?

Player(s)....

Scoreboard should be an investment which generates cash through sponsorship and is paid for by the same route.
Lessons must have been learned re: the pitch, particularly if we want Sir Gary to commit to another season or two, so cash will already have been committed to it.

The bad news is the £75K is in 'Love To Shop Vouchers' -- the good news is, there's plenty of 'em ;)

Apart from that - well done to Gary and the Boys for their honours, all well deserved and fitting that Pete got to collect the award on behalf of his Bruv, too.

Yes, but we still would have to buy the scoreboard in the first place. We can't sell advertising and sponsorship on it before it has been bought!

No, but you can get the sponsor to pay for it.........
