Anyone else hearing we have signed a new player with an exotic name?

Eventually after all these years, someone who can physically fill Gav Caines' shorts...

Was pretty shite for the Dons in his few half season cameos.

Think he was signed by Preston for £1 million at one stage of his career. Needs to arrest his fall through the leagues at some stage, might as well be here.

This means we have an abundance of strikers:
Wrighty
Billy
Dan Holman
Jeffrey Monakana
Amari

Hope I'm wrong, but this might imply someone is on their way out - and I'm wondering whether a bid we can't refuse has come in for Holman? I really hope that's not going to be the case and it is pure speculation on my part.

Your Holman theory looks plausible but I think it's down to filling the bench or that Amari keeps picking up these injuries. I don't know.

Monakana isn't even a striker. I'd rather the money have been spent on a proper striker. Also, Holman was seen limping through town today, what is the extent of his injury? How long is he out for?

Interesting that reading have signed Moore and Blackett this week. Two good defenders.

I know Dickie has a niggle and we are at our loan maximum but......

Can't see us selling Holman. Hope I'm not proven wrong.

I think we would be mad not to go back for Dickie and send the lad back to Villa (we can do this if all parties agree).

Our new signing looks to be a winger so the Echo headline is misleading and his appearance record is well short of the 100 + the Manager mentions. Thankfully his crossing looks more accurate than the write ups. He certainly has speed.
I think we might see Rowe and Barts leave soon .

If we're at our loan maximum, I'm just a bit worried about our lack of defenders, and certainly centre backs. We have only two - plus Suliman whom GJ seems to regard as more of a right back. Hoping Downsey gets himself up and firing quickly...but he might be found out for pace this season.

How long does an 'international clearance' take?

Depends how strict you want to be on unskilled immigrants.

Yes, which is why I was giving a straight up simple answer rather than being sarcastic.

Nothing to do with his right to work here. He was born in the UK, Enfield to be precise (at least according to Wikepedia). More to do with the Romanian FA confirming his registration, free agent status and disciplinary status. Faxing a bit of paper take ages. These Eastern Europeans eh?
