Chrismtas Day / Boxing Day fixtures

Afternoon all.
Been trawling through the archives looking back at Christmas Day fixtures and also Boxing Day games while in the Football League.
This year's Festive fixture list is as light as it's ever been with only two games between Christmas and New Year - in the 30s, 40s and 50s that was never the case as can be seen here: http://bit.ly/CTFCDecember25" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(At least CTFC fans had reasons to be a little more cheerful over Christmas in 1939)
