Scott Brown set to return
Moderators: Admin, Ralph, asl, Robin
I was saying the whole game I'd have Scotty back tomorrow. He's in my top 3 goalkeepers since following the club and I think he was shockingly underrated whilst here before. A brilliant goalkeeper and just what we need to instil some confidence in the defence.

Would be a great move if true. Nothing against Griffiths whatsoever but we need that little bit of experience through the team at this minute in time and SB can give us that.
Russ will go on to be a fine keeper in time I think

His parry back into the path of the onrushing Barthram almost gave us a point! Will we be hearing ironic cheers if he catches one?

Oops. Phone typo. Should have said 'almost'. Thanks for pointing out the error. Now corrected.Del Boy wrote:What did we get the point for?? Keep up at the back!Robin wrote:Which lad from Peterborough Horlick?
So far we have Scott Brown, midfielder from Oldham, defender from Brentford, lad from Bristol City plus Wilson and the player from Guiseley.

Wycombe have resigned Jamal Blackman on loan and SB is set to join another L2 club (us) on loan. With this unlikely to be in time for tomorrow's game then does this mean a first League start for Kitsca tomorrow?
Be a bit strange to field Griffiths with everyone knowing it's his last game

Tomorrow's GK selection will be interesting especially after GJs post match interview where he mentioned about telling loans they would be leaving and then needing to select them!
That is unless of course the Brown loan isn't finalised and might not go ahead?

It would be fantastic if we could take over his contract. Assuming the loan goes ahead I doubt Wycombe will allow Brown to play against them at Adams Park on April 8th

If Scotty is to return, but not in time for Colchester, and it turns out that Russ is to play his final game for us, then I hope all the travelling CTFC Fans continue to show their real class, as they did v Wycombe, and not get on the lads back.
With a bit of luck, we might even win the game too !!
Come On You Robins !!!

Play RG. No-brainer. We didn't not play Butland because it was his last game, after all.
How do you know Kitscha wouldn't have made a similar mistake? A different mistake? More mistakes? The fact (opinion?) that Griffiths made a mistake does not prove you're correct.Benctfc wrote:Griffiths at fault of for Colchesters goal my suggestion to play Kitscha doesn't look so stupid now does it.
You play your best/most experienced keeper - simple as that. I don't know many people who would suggest Kitscha might fit either of those categories - it would simply be a gamble, a random throw of the dice with no knowledge of the outcome. Bet you voted Leave, too...
