U23's are no indicator how good he is. We brutally beaten Everton and Premier League champions kids.
Anyway he sounds like a Willy Wonker character.
Welcome to club Ompalumpa.

As few , if any, of us will have seen him play. It does seem somewhat churlish to comment on him , before he actually signs and before he actually plays

Just look at the talent that has come through from Southampton over the last few years. If they'd not been a selling club, they would have been one of the top sides by now:
Gareth Bale
Luke Shaw
Theo Walcott
Alex Oxlaid-Chamberlain
Adam Lallana
Two with real potential:
Calum Chambers
James Ward-Prowse
In times gone by:
Alan Shearer
Matt Le Tissier

If you watch the videos he is a winger/striker. A bit like Billy Waters but several levels up.Very quick with two good feet and strong. Happy to go past players out wide. Looks a prospect and should put some good passes througf for Danny.............................if he signs.

That's interesting. Perhaps he's being brought in, in readiness for a bid we can't refuse for Billyhorlickfanclub wrote:If you watch the videos he is a winger/striker. Doubt it. Just good to improve all positions. A good option to play right wing.

If he has two good feet, I would be inclined, if he arrives, to play him on th left wing. Thus giving our LB more time to concentrate on his defensive duties
Let's just back up a little, shall we? The article says "linked with a move", so hardly a done deal. And let's not forget this is the Echo reporting and that their recent track record has been pretty poor when mentioning players before they've signed.
It's all over Twitter by numerous sources. There is some credibility in this thread.Shade wrote:Let's just back up a little, shall we? The article says "linked with a move", so hardly a done deal.
