oh get over yourself, people can comment surely. Not one single remark about PB, so stop starting an argument where there is none

It had to be done. Gates would have reduced and money lost without a bit of investment. If all goes ok we will stay up and hopefully spend a bit more wisely in future. If Duffus and Thomas make it we can make up the cash eventually.

Gates will reduce if the pitch is not repaired to an acceptable standard.

I will support the team whether they play on mud or grass. They will get on with the job.

Many will continue to support the team - from afar if they cannot justify £20 on a game ruined by the pitch.horlickfanclub wrote:I will support the team whether they play on mud or grass. They will get on with the job.

I have seen some awful games when we had an excellent pitch but awful players. This lot are worth sticking with whatever the surface.

Yes, but awful games due to awful players or awful performance is all part of the game. Having a pitch which impacts play so much ruins the game. And whether it is good team players on form or bad team players off form, one cannot begrudge a fan who does not want to pay a high price to watch a game ruined by the pitch.
