Lincoln fans v Forest Green. Tremendous support and even the old fogeys in the stand opposite are joining in. It's really not hard to clap your hands!

The C&G and the In2Print usually do it's the Paddock/UCAS side of the ground that is extremely quiet, hopefully that changes if/when the new stand is built.

Interestingly and coincidently (as the Imps were facing FGR in the footage) the Forest Green Fans were saying the same about our passionate support last season, especially the way we celebrated with Gary, Russ and the Players at the end of games. Most of it is the feel good factor of being at the top of course. It's probably taken a while for the Imps fans to get right behind their team, helped along by their magnificent Cup run. They've amassed a really decent following now ... but will the Manager stay loyal to the Players that get them promoted (if)? It could easily go quiet again next season if they don't rebuild for League 2. Good luck to them; Finners must be delighted for them too.

I was gonna say, do you not think our fans were like that last season when we were heading to the title? Remember all the "stand up if you love Cheltenham" chants from the PRE and the majority getting up in the CF Stand, the paddock and tunnel enclosures singing loudly enough they could be heard over the rest of the crowd. The wide shot of Lincoln's bigger stand showed nothing more than what happens in the CF Stand when we're doing well, everyone clapping along. The close up would be what I'd imagine the PRE would be like if it was an all-seater instead of a terrace. We all know the atmosphere would be improved in the ground if the PRE was a better stand.

Grimsby was our equivalent of Lincoln's game against FGR (also won 3-1), but later in the season when it was more tense - it was effectively the game that won us the title - and the noise was great that night.

Guiseley away. Packed wall to wall on the away terrace. So many new faces. Singing throughout. Solid line three abreast filing out the ground in full voice. I didn't make FGR away, so for me Guiseley was the best away atmosphere since Hereford (Cup), Wycombe (Play Off), Chester (Cup), Dagenham (Yates/Alsop) and Elland Rd (win).

The away contingent at Guiseley celebrated like Champions that day just like Lincoln are now. Hopefully after a good summer Messrs J&J we will be challenging at the right end and the fans will perk up.

It just shows what a difference a winning side makes, they weren`t that loud when we beat them 3-1 on our way to the title last year.
