Oh, yeah...I picked up a 500 club cheque at HT that day and was chatting to PB on the pitch, asking him if he was enjoying the tension so far. I didn't look at his fingernails, but from his response, I bet they were bitten to the quick!

The most I remember about the day was on the drive home afterwards some kid in a Cheltenham shirt was doing his f#!$ nut as he rode his bike. He was the most overjoyed at survival I've ever seen.
