Unlikely I'll be attending any group games again next season...but I can't blame the club for doing what is best financially in a tournament that has never been that well attended by fans.

Last season's prize could have been crucial in a) covering the financial short-fall created by Gloucester's pitch damage and b) bringing in the loans required to keep us up.

Whilst I don't agree with the competition, I can understand why the club voted for it.
