Fingers crossed on Billy Waters signing, be great if we can get that deal over the line.

To be honest I wouldn't be massively dissapointed if Waters moved on of course I would want to keep him but he is replacable. The one I most wanted resigned was Storer and he has so that's great news he is a key player for us. As for Wright and Downes I would hope they will be used as first team cover next season.

I can see Wright getting more goals next season than this if the crossing ability of the likes of Dawson is to be believed.

I am not sure I would have kept Downes, but obviously his coaching experience will be valuable. As for Wright I would hope as a squad player maybe coming off the bench. Waters needs to be used up front and not as a wide midfield/winger.

I would like to think Wright will not be a first choice next season, despite all his obvious effort he was largely poor last season and we need better if we are to challenge for top seven.
