Did anyone else notice a free kick that we had against Swansea was given on the 18 yard line, and the ref measured ten paces for the wall to form. He drew his foam line alongside the penalty spot. Now if the penalty spot is 12 yards and the feekick is on the 18 yard line, I make it that the wall was only 6 yards from the kick. I might add that it was directly in front of the goal, not at an angle.
I know throwins are never taken from the correct place, but these things just don't seem important any more.
This is only an observation, not a complaint.
