I'm more concerned that the team apparently travelled "half way across the country" when they were supposed to travel the full length of it.

Lands' End to John O'Groats c.875m, so I would say the 275m from Cheltenham to Carlisle is well less than half.

In fact, the halfway point in terms of North-South in the UK is Haltwhistle in Northumberland. Similar latitude to Carlisle.

Surely by "Country" he meant England, as that's the league you play in, if we're being pedantic? :)

In which case, Penzance to Carlisle c.450miles so our trip almost exactly half that.

Maybe they were filming an amateur dogging porn video and thought they struck lucky with a big group scene so started filming before realising what was actually happening.

I couldn't give two Braham-Barrett's, we still went up/down and not across.

Must have gone to J11a and across the 417 to Shurdington.

Random stat to blow your minds: Carlisle is further east than Edinburgh.
