I hope Mustoe turns out today prior to signing on. Trialist B and C may also appear.

Anyone remember Tony Mustoe's carpets? Used to go passed it on the bus every school day.

Good to see Downes playing. Great shame about Mustoe.

I guess we've decided not to take Mustoe in this case.

Played in Italy. Mame Mor N'diaye. Got two so far. Mustoe was the best left back since Garbutt.

I think here's a few clips of him here: https://youtu.be/LfOt9tk7TFo
He looks quite handy, although we're well stocked in the forward dept atm...

2 questions JP

1. Whats happened to Mustoe
2. Is the trialist striker better than what we have - if yes get him in and ship one out on loan

We may well be "well stocked"; but currently short of quality [one or two exceptions]; perhaps DW out on loan to a conference side?

Give up on the DW posts already. If anyone is going out it's Holman.

I suspect the trialist played because Graham wasn't fit from his knock.

One for the future and I doubt he turned up just to fill a place.

Holman to get 10+ goals for us this season. May even get 15+ if he gets a run of games sooner rather than later.

If he plays he will score I hope we benefit from his return to form not some other club.

I would rather play Holman than Wright. That may actually encourage us to play on the floor rather than long ball and I don't think Wright holds it up that well anyway he isn't mobile enough for this league especially when we play away from home he gets isolated. Holman and Eisa played together in preseason v Peterborough and looked dangerous as a partnership.

Agree, plus we have Gordon and Hinds to play up there too.

If we do need to switch to hoof ball, then we have Graham who is faster, fitter, more mobile and with better control and positioning than Wright.

any news on the trialist ? given the 7 strikers we have couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo I would have thought we would get him training with us to see if he looked better than we have and if yes ship one out

Was just to make up the numbers I think rather than on trial with a view to sign.

No boots. Had to borrow some. Not sure if he gave them back. The swine.
