Maybe no one on that list, but the Board may find someone you haven't heard of or know very little about who would do a great job.

If you are an expert on every manager out there I would be very surprised.

None of you want Cotterill back? I'd have thought you'd be lucky to get him. As a visiting Bristol City fan, I think he did a great job getting us to the Championship and was unlucky it didn't work out the following season.

He's been out of work a long time now, apart from the brief Brum stint.

Note when he was at Brum they survived against the odds, winning three of the last four. He didn't stay with them for the season and they have been awful and sacked Harry.

With current hindsight it looks as if out sentiments were wrong but the waste of July and August put us at the bottom and the Manager accepted blame.Since then good players have come in and square pegs rounded off . Where would we have been without the West Ham game money? Probably not on cloud nine

I hope we don't have to have this conversation again for a long time. While our recent form has been good it will only take a couple of lapses for us to be back in the danger zone. At this point it's normal that the vultures would start circling again.

Maybe Gary knew what he was doing waiting a bit longer, not diving in and paying top dollar for mediocre players at the height of the transfer scramble.

Eaxctly. He couldn't have gotten the players he got in late August any earlier, and there's no guarantee that players snapped up early are going to perform. Sometimes you've just got to be patient. Unfortunately, everyone seems to be forgetting how to be patient.

It's perfectly legitimate to question the abilities of the manager when, following the season where we only just avoided relegation, we find ourselves flirting with it again. It would seem strange if fans didn't have doubts. I'm glad that results have improved and long may it continue. It's what we all want after all.
