Currently we have 4 points from 7 games. The nest 5 games are pivotal, we would then have played 12 games - give or take would take us to a quarter way through the season. given the target for safety is 50 points we would want to be at a point a game or thereabouts.

so, we need to get 8 points from the next 5 games. Anything less than that and I feel GJ should be put under scrutiny by the board.

the next 5 games see us play Colchester (16th), Accrington (3rd), Mansfield (11th), Chesterfirld (21st) and Swindon(14th)

what are your thoughts on this ? How do you think we will do over the next 5 games ? is 12 games in enough time to judge?

Be disappointing to lose any of those.

Win the home games and draw the away games should be the minimum we settle for.

More than two defeats, and the Board should act.

I agree. A very important time however I think November 6th is judgment day. Poor performances and a Cup exit means a dismal winter looms and something would have to be done.

November 6th is a Monday.

I assume you mean judgement should be made after a cup tie on the 4th. Could be a bit harsh to include that in the judgement; yes it should be considered if we crash out to a part-timer, however it might be that we play really well in a close defeat away to the team top of L1.

Be disappointing not to get double figures from the 5 games now.

10 points from four games so in the double figures. Be nice to finish the five sticking another three past visitors to WR.

Yup. Put paid to the 5-3-2 theory some were obsessed with.

When I penned the original post we were doubting GJ - wow what a turn round - played 5 won 4 drawn 1 - I cannot help think a lot of the reason for the about turn is down to a solid keeper, and the skill brought to the team by the Brizzle lads. We just need to get Dawson fit ......

Yeah almost a blip today but fought til the end.

Like you say a big difference due to the, keeper and City boys and don’t forget Sellars coming back from injury and Graham getting match fit .

Still got ground to make up on the top 3 sides so same again during the next five please!

I don't wanna be that guy, but I said a month ago that it felt like the season we got to the play off finals, we weren't winning but it would just take sonething like the formation change at Brizzle Rovers and it could all change for the better. Today showed not only that we have the players but we also have the character to keep going right until the very end. Could have easily settled when Pell's free kick flew over with 60 seconds left. The character was about the only question left of this team.
