one swallow

.. does not a summer make would be the harsh way to describe Saturday's win. But it was a sure sign of more swallows to come, and a sure sign that this squad is much better than last seasons. That the win was secured without one or two first choice players is testament to the strength we have. Panic ye not.

Atangana (in place of Stoz)horlickfanclub wrote:Which first choice players were missing apart from Forster?
Boyle (at CB - came on as sub on his return from injury)
Holman & Sellars: may not be first XI would certainly be part of the match-day squad and will often be in the first XIV

I agree with Boyle but the others may not be first choice even if fit. Atangana seems a 60 minute man at best.

60 minutes maybe but still first choice. He must and will start every game he is fit.
The others as I mentioned are first team squad if not starters. Squad game and the match day squad is stronger with them in it.
