Within minutes of the FA Cup first round draw, the Robins Trust – through fan elected director Murry Toms – made immediate contact to the club board over ticket pricing for the match.

Statement on today’s FA Cup ticketing announcement

I wonder what response he got from the previous F.E.D.who is now on the board ?Comedy Dave wrote:Within minutes of the FA Cup first round draw, the Robins Trust – through fan elected director Murry Toms – made immediate contact to the club board over ticket pricing for the match.

Very poor decision from the board there is no way they can justify £15 to stand to watch us play an average conference side. Why reduce seating tickets but not standing makes no sense at all. It was £10 to stand when we played Crewe last year.
Another missed opportunity to try a different price strategy after all it is supposedly un budgeted money no commen sense used. We have history of ripping fans of in the fa cup though just like the Swindom match a couple of years ago.

prices have to be agreed mutually by the two clubs. if they cant agree a price i believe the FA set the prices.Benctfc wrote:Very poor decision from the board there is no way they can justify £15 to stand to watch us play an average conference side. Another reason why the split role was untenable.everyman wrote:I wonder what response he got from the previous F.E.D.who is now on the board ?Comedy Dave wrote:Within minutes of the FA Cup first round draw, the Robins Trust – through fan elected director Murry Toms – made immediate contact to the club board over ticket pricing for the match.

Thanks to MT and the RT for arguing for the £10 price suggested on this forum. Shame the club did not listen.

This game has to be worth for £15. Shopping can be done anytime. Maidstone fans are used to paying £15 so should be more than happy to pay up to visit a legendary venue.

Up to the home club nowadays.
"Immediately after the draw is known, the Club playing at home shall decide on the prices of admission, subject to a minimum price of £10.00 for all spectators other than concessions"

Hopefully £15 won't put off the bunch of Kents showing up in good numbers.
