Feck the FA/FL. Gary been fighting a battle vs them the whole time he has been at CTFC. A shame such corruption ruins the game, but that is life.

Let’s hope Maidstone fluke promotion and we play properly against them next season and teach them what Football League is really about.

They can’t go up due to 3G pitch

They can go up if they rip the synthetic pitch up and replace it with real grass.

As Mal says, there are things known as grass pitches. Plenty of ways to work around the issue.

As an aside - there blatantly needs to be a rule change in the FL. It won’t be long until we see half the Conference with all-weather pitches. Could easily reach a point where Champions/Play-Off winners are denied promotion every year which would be nonsense. If we see an all-weather pitch team get promoted, I fully expect the FA/FL to allow it and say that L2 teams can have them. Makes no sense that the FA/FL would rather have disgusting pitches like Newport or ours in recent years than quality pitches like Maidstone and Sutton. A policy that by definition says they would rather fans fork out for hoofball, scrappy games and plastponed fixtures than fans being able to see quality passing, better games and consistent playing surfaces.

Very difficult for the officials to prove any sign wasn`t aimed at one of our players, plenty deserved one.
