Findings from the 2017 iteration of the annual BBC study now published.

Prices in general have not gone up at all over last three years, however, young people feel priced out.

One notes that the cost and prevalence of snow, powder, sugar, coke and weed has not been included in the report. Sadly, this has become something of a peer acceptance necessity for some young people and accounts for a lot of their disposable income, along with alcohol.

One also envisages that users of the above chemicals, botanical monstrosities and fluids remain far too comatose to get to the ground come 3pm. Those that do, are usually the ones that then get into bother and provide a whole new meaning to the term “kick-off”.

Wow.

Worked out earlier that with my ST in the CF Stand, travel and a drink, it costs me £22.50 per home match. I'd say an afternoon at the footy is worth that, most matches.

According to the BBC our average ST price has dropped from over £300 to £270, which would suggest they got it wrong last year or this, given prices were frozen.

Yes, and ours froze, but the BBC graphic for CTFC says it has dropped from over £300 to £270.
