As briefly mentioned previously, I am in the process of setting up some new forums for all Sport across Gloucestershire.

There are separate forums for CTFC, FGR, Gloucester City and Gloucester Rugby and also Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.

The forums are completely independent and by registering you’ll be able to post in all forums.

The new forums won’t replace The Robins Nest.

Please feel free to register and have a look around at http://www.gloucestershiresport.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Bet they get upset when others criticise their sham of a club.

Would think it could offer their decent realistic supporters a good platform to air their views without fear of censorship. Can't think of another pro club that has an official forum, most that used to be about were shut down years ago.

It soon will be Alen. I don't want to do too much to it as the new version of PHPBB is pretty decent out of the box and is mobile friendly too, however Tapatalk is pretty nifty so would be a shame not to add this.

Maybe tomorrow if I get chance.

As much as they're our rivals, same as GCFC, I feel they need somewhere to express themselves without having to give their phone numbers and without fear of being censored if they don't toe the line.

I've felt a decent forum for all sports has been missing, especially with some of the chat on here with regards cricket etc, hence the new forums.

It's based on email confirmation Nesty so as soon as you receive the email with a link and click it you should be done.

It's a good idea but we now have a Facebook group that's free of censorship. :-)

Nesty you’re now added. Not sure why you didn’t receive the email.

There is also another user been approved whoever you are.

Tapatalk is also now live and ready to use. https://www.tapatalk.com/forum/2021743" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi - I've logged in on Tapatalk, but it doesn't let me post. I can type the text but when I click the button to post, it briefly says "connecting to server" before putting me back in the text window. I have no problem posting under the same username from the web version.

Also, I've just noticed that I have no button to start a new topic in Tapatalk. Suspect the two issues are related.

Hi Alen,

I'm checking this out as I can't post either. It appears to be a permissions issue.

Will let you know when sorted.
