Hopefully will stay fit and provide some strength and pace.

......an ode to ole!
Do sincerely hope he fits in and is a success. Have we any stats on him - height/width/depth/mass/speed etc??

Assuming this signing is more a squad player or option from the bench that can cover Graham and also potentially give us an outlet late in games. I'm a little concerned that Colchester are effectively releasing him though given they are where we want to be in this league.

Good signing and expect him to go straight into the side. Will definitely add more threat to our attacking play and seems a Johnson type of player.
Anyone else watching that YouTube video and thinking he's waaaaayy more suited to the wing - cos his conversion rate in front of goal looks distinctly unimpressive...? Cracking through-ball in the very first clip - but I guess we're not signing that guy.

Graham up top in the middle.asl wrote:Anyone else watching that YouTube video and thinking he's waaaaayy more suited to the wing - cos his conversion rate in front of goal looks distinctly unimpressive...? Cracking through-ball in the very first clip - but I guess we're not signing that guy.
Eisa and Sanmi flanking him, running the channels, going wide, picking up flick-ons and one-twos.
Pell, Atangana and Dawson the three behind them to provide strong challenges and forward drive.
Winchester (RB) and new LB providing width and support going forward.
Overpower opponents.

Moore at CB. Morrell rotating with Dawson/Mo/Sanmi.horlickfanclub wrote:Moore and Morrell sitting on splinters then ? It won't happen.
Squad game. We need five on the bench who we are happy can change a game or fill in to the same level should someone get a knock or be having an off-day.
We need a first team squad of 16 and all should be prepared to play or sit on the bench.

On Tuesday Jon Palmer was saying this was not going to happen and Johnson was looking elsewhere ? Change of mind from Johnson or JP way off the mark ?

Or JP/GJ working to quell the rumour to stop other club gazzumping.
