Should stop Horlick moaning, at least until we concede later.

Gary keeps faith in Grimes ahead of Boyle. Pell still injured.

Only one down at HT. Colchester down to ten men so a chance to get a great point.

A different side once Sanmi came on for Wright. Added the pace and power needed to wreak havoc alongside Mo.
Stanley knocked in four today too. Going to be a good game next week. Bring them on!!

I think Wright will see the season out but play less, mainly 25-20 min cameos late in games or more if others need rest or have a knock. There will be games where we need to go long and ugly, and others where elbows to defenders' torsos will be key and Wright will be needed for those.

Fantastic win! Well done boys, great to take advantage of the extra man and boost the goal difference.
It's been obvious since early last season Wright is a cameo bench player at this level at best. I look forward to seeing Odelusi playing next week and to see if him and Mo can develop a good partnership. I wonder how many clubs are looking at Mo though 13 goals in his first season in league football is very impressive especially in a midtable team.
There was a thread earlier, and it was mentioned a couple of weeks ago, that we have had the second highest number of shots in League 2 this season. We haven't suddenly become a good side because we won 4-1 away - we are a decent side that has struggled to beat the goalkeeper, including today as theirs made 2 or 3 good saves, but today we took our chances. It was going to happen eventually. 3 scorers had never scored for us before including Sellars and Atangana. If they and others took more of their chances, showed belief that they can/will score, then we would be a lot further up the table.
We have been the better footballing side in many games this season that we haven't won, and we haven't won them because the opposition take more of their chances than we do. Let's hope the confidence boost today means we do take more chances and the players believe they're going to score when hitting a shot.

Spot on Shade, I've gone away from many games this season wondering how the hell we didn't get a result out of the game, we're not a bad side, so many injuries has not helped either. When a few of those start coming back and a couple more new faces should see us climb the table.Shade wrote:There was a thread earlier, and it was mentioned a couple of weeks ago, that we have had the second highest number of shots in League 2 this season. Reports provided by family members from home games I have missed have usually been “more missed chances, should have scored four but can’t finish”.itsallbollox wrote:Spot on Shade, I've gone away from many games this season wondering how the hell we didn't get a result out of the game, we're not a bad side, so many injuries has not helped either.
