Played for Finland against Jordan in Abu Dhabi,11/01/18 as a Cheltenham player,so presumably he hasn`t yet signed for HJK Helsinki.

Terminated and I thought he was keen to go off this training/camp tour with Finland and we didn't want to stand in his way?

Are his family in Finland still?

I'm fairly sure I saw that he has signed for a team in Helsinki.

He has signed for HJK.

Listed on their website as of 8th January: https://www.hjk.fi/joukkue

The Finish league season runs March to October so 2018 season has not started. Currently league teams are playing friendlies and I believe the ongoing Finnish cup tournament restarts before the season.

Finnish international squad will be away in warmer climes training and playing friendlies. Dan obviously wanted to be involved in the international stuff and then start the season with HJK.

Playing an international friendly in Abu Dhabi beats sitting on a bench in the cold next to the A12 in Essex so who can blame him for wanting to go.
