Absolutely pathetic cretin so far, and the lino on the CF stand side is the most pointless cretin to boot. We should be 3-1 up due to missed chances but by God, how many blatant fouls have we been denied?! It's unbelievably ridiculous. So much so, I think the crowd are in disbelief. I'm sure he even gave a free kick on Sellars, changed his mind, played play on and then gave no advantage, despite the fact he was still fouled 3 or 4 more times in the box, and then gave them a goal kick!. Utter, utter cretinous twat.

He was so bad it was comical. He destroyed the first half totally. One body check on Sellars sent him flying head over heels but no "play on".
Grade A twat!!

Same referee that was in the middle when we played non-league Maidstone Utd.
The afternoon was quite a disaster. Cheltenham were shocking bad. Inconsistent performances should not be problem this stage of the season. We are not selling the club with another ineffective display at WR. One win in six home games, attendances tells the story.

Poor defending.
Hoof and hope chipped balls.
Too lightweight in attack.
Dawson my MOTM for trying to bring some energy.
Graham did his best to shout at and encourage midfielders to get up the pitch and for players to move and pass.
Mo one on one went for power when usually he slots low to the far post. Why change?
Mo/Graham shots off the post could have made it an exciting last ten.
Atmosphere awful without away fans to make noise.

I’m generally not one to complain about referees, but yesterday’s officials for the Accrington match were very inconsistent, with the majority of their decisions favouring Accrington. VAR at this level would badly expose actual officials.
Did anyone else notice the flashlights going off in the Stanley end whenever we attacked (second half)? Either a camera or mobile, but whenever Cheltenham had an attacking threat, or dead-ball opportunity, the flashlight went off (midway down the stand on their keepers left). Now, some people may consider this to be a Stanley fan wishing to film a potential Cheltenham goal. But why would they do that? And a camera/mobile flash from the terrace would not capture an image on the pitch. No, my strong suspicion was that Stanley fans were using it to dazzle our players’ vision.
There must be official camera footage of this occurring.

If any has read or watched Darren Ferguson's outburst Saturday he has hit the proverbial nail on the head! Whilst his use of language may be suspect he has certainly raised the issue of competence of officials at this level. The FA could most certainly afford to pay officials full time with higher degrees of fitness and decision making - the coffers are overflowing from TV revenues and a reasonable % made available to do that. As should a higher % be filtered down to Lg's 1 and 2. Richard Scudamore and the incompetents at FA please note!

He obviously fulfilled orders to perfection last time so they are sending him to screw us over again.RR88 wrote:Kevin Johnson is the fourth official on Saturday! How have we had him two home games in a row! He was the man in the middle against Accrington!

Suggest that we employ two extra video cameras to augment the c5 (normal one) one and send all "errors" of judgement or poor game management to the relevant authority requesting written feedback (as presumably happened with the failed red cards). The publish the incidents and then publish the replies!

Great shout. Certainly feels like we need to do something like that now it is clear we are at war with the corrupt authorities.theidlerich wrote:Suggest that we employ two extra video cameras to augment the c5 (normal one) one and send all "errors" of judgement or poor game management to the relevant authority requesting written feedback (as presumably happened with the failed red cards).
