Cyrille Regis has sadly died aged just 59.
Cyrille was a frequent visitor to Whaddon Road in his scouting work and was always friendly and gracious with his time. I spoke to him at one of our games a couple of months ago and he was on good form. He never looked his 59 years and seemed to be as strong as an Ox so it's very sad to lose him so young. A man who made a difference way beyond football and aided social progress in the 80's - he was iconic.
RIP Cyrille.
