No better example of why having a football man and passionate fan in charge is worth something money can't buy than the state of Gloucestershire football.

FGR have far more cash than us but an owner who cares more about sustainability and who doesn't understand the history and emotion of football. Gloucester have an owner more interested in tweeting from Kingsholm rugby matches whilst the football club are playing at home. Both clubs flattering to deceive and in the relegation zone in their respective divisions.

Paul Baker his first and foremost a passionate Cheltenham supporter and football man. We all have our views on Gary and signings but I hope that we all agree and appreciate that after the recent non-league scare Paul Baker can be trusted to do what is best to keep this club at the highest level he can until someone who can do better comes along. Having a financially secure club doing its best in the league is his sole priority as Chairman and that level of focus and commitment is something money cannot buy.

Can't disagree with any of that as an FGR fan.
