CTFC vs Port Vale Home 10th Feb 2018

Watched that stupid game with an oval ball whilst waiting for Arsenal and Everton to start on my large screen – Bt sport on my mini phone. If that wasn’t dire enough the stats from Grimsby made it worse. I gather Halliwell’s square and round peg comments surfaced as is often seen on our forum. So a draw was the best we could manage. Must admit, whilst the distance travelled makes it tricky so a point was worth having, the season does seem to be petering out with a whimper. Unlike our green neighbours who are having a new lease of life![or at least loanees that make a real difference]. So to next week at Home verses Port Vale. I would like to think this was a game that will enthuse our fans; however reality dictates that we will be lucky to scrape a draw; so 1-1 with Dawson to score as it’s more likely a midfield or defence player will find the net rather than our forward line. Only three scorers, with pas 10 and OTC and Red Duke 5; Cliffy still awol. Over to you predictors.

beginning not to care , so Flinders to score as he will probably start up front in a 3-1 defeat.

my serious side says Eisa in a 2-1 win
