and how much should Cheltenham expect for him? Plenty of clubs will be watching at Crewe: http://bit.ly/PremEisa" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Nice that we are expecting a seven figure fee, that sort of money could seriously help with getting the new stand built or give us a good budget to challenge for promotion over the next couple of seasons. If he moves to a prem club that sort of fee is peanuts and we need to push hard for majority upfront.
The lad has been a model pro whilst here and I hope he finds the right club that will give him game time and a platform to go further. Someone like Brentford, Bolton, Barnsley would be my guess. A move to the prem will surely appeal but I fear he would be in the reserves and loaned out to a Championship side within a few months.

He should end up playing for us next season. Be a failure on every level to let him go.

It would be a failure if no one rated him high enough to make an offer. I hope he gets a goal in his last game for us.

Paul Baker said on BBC Radio Glos that if we sell Eisa it will be in excess of £1.5m and the fee for Harry Pell is a six-figure one.

Round up of the latest transfer news here: https://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/s ... ed-1537165" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
That comment is simply wrong in so many ways, PB clearly isn't going to pocket the money for himself and I'd be amazed if it's not used for the new stand and the playing squad.Ben2 wrote:It’s good timing for mo to leave as I guess it will mean the millions baker had lent he club can finally be repaid to him as he also stands down.
New players? New stand? Not ok your nelly
Why did Paul Baker say 1.5 million when Leeds could have been knocking on our door with 2 million Monday morning, they won't now will they!!!

Two players contracted for next season have been told they can go. Dawson and Graham perhaps?

He said “in excess off” to sort wheat from chaff and tell time wasters they are not welcome. Bidding starts at £1.5m but we don’t need to accept that.Malabus wrote:Why did Paul Baker say 1.5 million when Leeds could have been knocking on our door with 2 million Monday morning, they won't now will they!!!

Cardiff must have seen how many goals he scored and also read how much hoof ball we play.

Jon - do you think the bulk of the cash would be upfront, or installments/appearances/goals?

I would expect the club to demand the fee up front, although sell-on clauses and added extras are also likely to be included.
