The final curtain……. Many congratulations to our very own Green Foe from the valleys – Old Tom Cat who came out trumps. Thanks and do hope you all re-enlist next year [If it runs!?]. Running OTC close was pas who came in second with myself a distant third. Thanks to all who persevered and stayed the season; enjoyed the odd bit of banter with a few. Predictions are tricky; especially when the heart tends to rule the in-built mental capacity of our frontal lobes! Personally I thought CTFC should have had a better season than transpired; look forward to the next couple of weeks to see who stays and goes; which will largely determine whether I for one renew my ST. I can relax now and wander to the county Ground to see more batting collapses and moan and gripe there! Thanks a lot folks; if any-one is at the College ground for the Cricket Festival – do buy a ground raffle ticket as I may well be trying to flog them! Have a good summer and let’s hope for plenty of sun.
