Interesting that we have reached mid June and we have still been the most active club. Along with Port Vale and Colchester all three sides had seasons well below expectations and had plenty of time to plan.

On the other end of the spectrum if I was a Macclesfield, Morecambe, Newport or Carlisle fan I would be worried. All three weaker than last season and no real signings means a season of struggle is likely.

I've just seen up there that Uche Ikepeazu has left Cambridge for Hearts. Wouldn't have minded him here but I guess Hearts is just about a step up .

Updated effective from 21st June.

Stevenage have now over taken us as the most active club (backed by circa £500k in transfer fees received), the low budget minnows (Morecambe, Macclesfield, Yeovil etc) have stared signing players and loans are starting to become more frequent as the transfer pool becomes smaller.

Managerless Exeter and newly promoted Tranmere the only two sides not to sign anyone.

Exeter are not managerless - Matt Taylor, former CTFC captain, is their manager.

Thanks Si must have missed that one. Can see them struggling a lot more this season though, losing Tisdale was massive and they've also lost a couple of their better players.

I have them to get relegated, they've already lost their captain to MK Dons and I think they'll realise just how important Tisdale was to them.

Let's hope Exeter haven't got any games on when Taylor's been invited to a wedding.

With clubs now back in for pre-season, how do we see league two shaping up? Port Vale, ourselves and Stevenage making the highest volume of signings, Swindle the least. My money would be on Notts County and Lincoln to finish top three, Oldham may have another relegation battle with the usual suspects (Yeovil, Morecambe) meanwhile Newport, Cambridge and Carlisle look noticeably weaker than last year. Colchester and ourselves could be dark horses for the play offs.

If you look at FGR signings they are all young kids apart from Winchester too, certainly can't see them threatening the promotion places. Such a waste for Winchester who could have stayed here and had a play off push.

The good thing about a $ is it obviously refers to money, but also looks like a snake.

I see Jonathan Forte has signed for Exeter from Notts County, I wouldn't have minded him here. Has pace, good eye for goal and can play wide too.

I wonder what Northampton are going to do with Billy Waters. Will they keep him now that they are back to a level where he should be comfortable or, loan him out again?

Not so much that as the PL deciding they wanted to close it before their new season and then the EFL deciding to close it at the same time. They had the option to close when they wanted but thought that made most sense.
