In the view of inaccuracies in the Q&A from the club on the new chairman, the Robins Trust have put out a statement

Know nothing of what is going on. However the tone from the trust statement does not sit well re the Boards view of life and the part of the FED, hope this is just my misreading

I read it the same way as you.

However from reading the Club statement on the official site (https://www.ctfc.com/news/2018/may/qa-c ... departure/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) it sounds like a simple misunderstanding by CTFC re: Trust rules and constitution rather than a deliberate attempt to disrupt or ride roughshod.

I am sure the Club would welcome the next FED as outlined in Trust statement and I hope this robust response from the Trust does not see the FED join the Club Board on a sour note.

Yes, I agree it looks like a misunderstanding.

But misunderstandings tend to stem from a communication breakdown between two parties. This club Q & A / Trust statement tennis that is playing out suggests the relationship between the two is currently dysfunctional. I hope it’s smoother out soon.

Bound to be a breakdown of communications when there is no FED? Sutely it would be yhey that would be doing the communicating.
