Has to be better than Debayo, also does this indicate Hussey may have ongoing problems.

Agree debayo resembles JC defence wise.

This guy has experience.
Just what we want. Debayo has defensive issues, but wow, he sure has a wicked cross on him. Perhaps a left wing berth for Josh?

This lad is decent by all accounts. I am guessing Hussey is out injured for a spell again though.

Those furious that one of the best Championship sides beat us easily will be happy we got one of their players.

Haha  only saw the highlights of the Brentford game, but he did look very suspect. Hopefully there's a gem of a player in there somewhere that will emerge with time

I would hope people don’t start getting on Debeyo’s back when he plays. He’s a young lad, still learning the game. Yes, we all want a competent player at left back but history has shown that this has been one of the most difficult positions to fill at CTFC over several years now. Left sided defenders as competent going forward as they are defending, are quickly snapped up by bigger clubs.

But before a player’s confidence is totally ripped apart by ‘fans’ - just spare a thought for the substantial improvement shown by Jordan Cranston at the start of his second year, before the serious hamstring injury ruined his season.

I was at the Brentford game and felt Debayo was not given enough cover when it was clear he was up against a very competent specialist right-sided attacking midfielder. When the ball was pinged cross-field to the right winger, which was a very clear and obvious tactic employed by Brentford, Debayo was isolated too often and was left to struggle.

I can imagine he used to play left-wing but someone has tried to convert him.
