The uncertainty is not good.

There is the need to take time to get the best man in, but like a surfer waiting for the perfect wave we run the risk of always waiting another week as something better may come up.

Time for action: state a date when a new manager will be appointed. Or if Milton is being given a contract, tell us how long for.

Milton got the job. Bit obvious.

Heartily agree.

The fact that russ has brought a load of new players in and is doing a walk of the town with the players to boost positivity kinda shows that he’s got the job. Tbh it’s good the club are being more visible within the town!

Think we'll hear early next week and it will depend on the performance and result tomorrow as to what the statement is.

Time should be taken on there decision to hopefully employ the best man for the job. It helps as Russ has steadied a sinking ship.

I don’t know what you do for a living but you must get very bored if you’re driven to writing stupid posts like this to try and wind up people.

I'm outraged. I hope we've followed the correct procedures and interviewed at least one black, one Asian, one female, one alien, one tree and one good candidate.

Thanks. "New era under Russ Milton" certainly does sound like the decision has been made.

Crawley owner and a director in a press conference saying they hope to appoint before the weekend.

Not a murmur from our Boardroom.

Our Board can do things in its own way. Why should we mirror Crawley?

Because it's stone wall silence at a time fans are very concerned about the running of the club.

I am not saying mirror Crawley, just showing that it is possible to provide an update to fans on the plan and strategy, if there is one.

Why have we delayed it so long why have interviews only taken place yesterday. I get giving Milton a chance but that doesn't mean interviews couldnt take place. We are not in a position where we can let things drift we need to start getting results and the new man needs to start training these players to resemble some kind of a team. I will have lost confidence in this board if the reason they are delaying is to give Russ more games. The silence on the matter is amatuerish and worrying.

Since giving Gaz more time and then sacking him 3 days later, this board has proven themselves to be a bunch of jokers.

No plan, no strategy, no clue, no idea.

I'd just like to point out that the reason the chairman gave for sacking GJ was that if he hadn't done it after the game then it would have been 3 more days before he could do it face to face and not over the phone as he was away for business. I am inclined to think that the reason for the delay on the interviews is that the chairman wanted to be present but had other work commitments and yesterday was the soonest all of the appropriate people could get together.

I was thinking exactly the same but thought we would at least know something by the end of today. New manager could have spoken to the players and given them a message, some hope, before another league game.

Right I am now fed up to the back teeth with how the fans are being treated over this. This board have no idea how to treat the paying customer. We all understand that they are not going to name the p eople who were interviewed, that's fine, but at least acknowledge the fact this did happen. Then issue some sort of statement saying something like,"we hope to make an announcement shortly".
But all we get from this Chairman is silence. It is now obvious that he does not give a s#!t for the fans. After the disgusting timing of GJ's sacking, maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
