As we enter the new era of Russ Milton, I checked Nesty’s fantastic history site (link at top of the page) to see what happened twenty years ago.

31st August 1998, 4-1 home win vs Barrow Walker (2), Brough, Eaton

Followed up on 5th September with 4-1 home win vs Morecambe Grayson (2), Howells (2).

Iconic names and a golden era. Milton of course just as iconic in that team and instrumental in what they achieved.

Twenty years on; a chance for Milton to create an iconic future to go alongside that history.
