Mike Duff joins an elite group of CTFC players who have gone onto manage the club.

I can name Dave Lewis (only as caretaker), John Murphy, Steve Cotterill, Terry Paine. have there been any others?

If you count caretakers, Bob Bloomer and Chris Banks teamed up for us at one point, I think?

So I’m confused. M.Duff been confirmed as Cheltenham manager?...A lot of chicken counting before they hatch.
Cheltenham are the most frustrating team on and off the field.
Don’t send your Q&A’s to Jon Palmer just yet.

Roy Shiner had a few games a caretaker after Tommy Cavanagh was sacked
Tommy Cavanagh played and managed the club as did the early managers of George Carr, James Brain, Cyril Dean and George Summerbee
Billy Tucker also a few caretaker games between Grundy and Wood might have been with Roger Thorndale
Graham Allner played for us later managed us

There maybe a few others that took on a caretaker role in the early days of the club having a manager
