Clearly didn’t think much of Gary’s efforts over the last two years.
Whether we rate him as manager or not, Russell Milton is Cheltenham Town through and through and cares about the club.

Great interview, whoever comes in as manager I hope the club keep Russ on in some sort of role he deserves it. A club man through and through.

Whilst there are others I may appoint ahead of him, I don't think he's done a bad job. Stats would indicate he's done a better job managing than GJ this year!Robin wrote:Lovely guy, was a great player but not a manager.

I didn't see anything under Johnson to suggest we would have got 6 points in the next 3 league games based on how we had started season. I thought we played quite well on Saturday.
I think that demonstrates he does have some management skills to turn results around a little. What was most pleasing Saturday was that having conceded, we looked bright still and did not do the standard implosion. That for me was a definite marked improvement in the squad.
Whilst it was only a short period in charge, I do think it looks like he has had more reaction and impact than his previous stints. This time he seemed to be a little more his own man - dropping likes of Addai. Tweaking formation a bit etc - and we got better as a result.
