in the last 5 games we have amassed 4 points and during that time we have lost to teams 1st, 3rd and 5th, drawn against the team in 18th and beaten the team currently 21st.

For 75 minutes today there was nothing between us and the top team but heads dropped after they nicked a goal against the run of play. We look every bit a mediocre mid-table team in my opinion, one which lacks going forward.

Yes very serious until the goal they had managed once shot on goal and never looked like scoring with the exception of the Akinde miss in the first half. We were very comfortable but lack threat up top.

We were playing top of the league and for seventy five minutes they posed no threat what so ever, give credit where it is due.

Sorry Robin we were second best. In ideas speed of movement awareness etc etc. We will cope with average teams but not against the likes of Lincoln. Not yet anyway

Yeah so second best our keeper didn't make a notable save for the first hour. Yes Lincoln have better players than us but some of you are being hyper critical.

Just dont think that a teams dominance can be measured by shots on target e.g. Akinde missed a chance, I would have had a fair chance of putting away. Can't believe I was the only one at half time thinking that we got away with 45 mins and still 0-0 ?

Don't think you attended the same game as the majority of us, Robin. There was a gulf in class.

Have to agree if you were a nuetral and attended that game not knowing who was playing you would think there was a couple of league differences between the teams they dominated us for most of the match we never looked like scoring.

The past 2 games were always going to be difficult we really need a result on Tuesday now against Morecambe to halt this awful run of home form.

So none of the high pace devastating attack play which we produced to tear Carlisle apart in the second home game?

Five home games down. We have to find some form to reach the ten home wins requirement from the last 18 fixtures at WR.

We were playing a far superior team to Carlisle but we did play a high pace in the first half the difference was they were exceptionally well organised and in Bostwick and Shackell have probably the best centre halves in the league. At the other end though Lincoln posed no real threat other than a bad miss by Akinde we never looked like conceding for the first sixty minutes.

No, definitely not. There was a definite gulf between the two teams today."

Just hoping we can recreate them.

Not sure what your fuss is with the Carlisle game we scored no goals in that game either against a weaker team...

We just haven't got the players to play expansive football at the moment its all going to be about grinding out results at least until January where we might have some scope to ship a few out and bring a couple in.

I would have thought a few more might be shipped out sooner rather than later

I have no complaints about the result either, we played the best team in the league all I am saying is for 75 mins they caused us no trouble and we largely matched them for posssession and work ethic.

I enjoyed that first half more than any game since the Yates play-off season when we were rampaging.
