Morecambe on Tuesday simply cannot join the litany of home failures witnessed last season.
Barnet, Grimsby, FGR, Chesterfield all struggling sides who left WR with a point or three when we should have dispatched them. Such abject results at home must not happen this season, starting tomorrow.
Funnily enough, we did beat Morecambe 3-0 late on at home last season so failure tomorrow will be even more unacceptable.
A repeat of last season’s home failures is unpalatable.

Yes and since we beat Morecambe 3 - 0 we have lost six and drawn one league matches at home, scoring the grand total of two goals and one of those was a penalty.
Only Scott, Will & Nigel left from last season. We need all these new players to blend and start performing.
Expecting a crowd around 2,000 tomorrow night.

I think we will get more than 2,000 due to the Duff factor. But failure to win and new found enthusiasm will soon fade and sub-2,000 gates could be seen.Fuller wrote:Yes and since we beat Morecambe 3 - 0 we have lost six and drawn one league matches at home, scoring the grand total of two goals and one of those was a penalty.

40 ish from Morecambe. 2,095 in total. Gates will be sub-2,000 soon if results don’t meet the bare minimum.

Surely 4 goal thrillers with two late half home scores to warm your hitherto losing cockles will tempt some back, even for entertainment rather than quality?
