Excellent result. Nice to see a Manager do a proper job with this fixture. Good game time for all and whatever standard it is always good to score.

Good for Mooney, Jones and McAlinden to get amongst the goals.

One of the benefits of 25+ pros on the books is that we can play full time players in this competition. Let's not pretend though that Duff played the pros for any reason other than game time.
If our squad was 22 or 23 as many want, then it would have been the young lads playing not the pros.

But, yes, good to get game time and goals in the squad.

Well it was good to see a CTFC team score 6 goals at home in a "competitive" fixture - that's more than we have scored in total over 7 months at Whaddon Road !

Some quality finishing, shame there was only about 100 or so there to see it.

And one exceptional save by our young keeper too.

Addai was unstoppable when he got going, surely worth having him on the bench for a late run out against tiring defenders ?

For the first time in a long time we looked to have a system and method to our play. Hopefully Duffo's ideas are starting to sink in.

Addai did well, awesome pace but had a bit of end product too; like you I'd be happy to see him get a chance off the bench late in a game.

I wouldn't get too carried away. Mangotsfield aren't even the best side in Mangotsfield.

In past seasons we would have lost this game.

Yes, because we would have played the youth team. We didn't this time. It was largely a team of professionals, a consequence of the oft criticised over stocked squad.
