Lost 7-1 in the end, but was an Under-18s team v Exeter's three pros and mainly U23s, so mismatch really.

Anyone know who scored our goal?
Good experience for the kids. I wonder if it is a new strategy by Duff to play the kids in these games to see who sinks and who swims, as part of planning for 2-3 years down the line.

Cheers JP. A name for the future?Jon Palmer wrote:Cameron Duncan from the penalty spot
I counted at least 7 from their first team squad (if you go by the Exeter website).
The Exeter left back Craig Woodman has 500 odd senior appearances alone. It was a mamouth task and a big learning curve for our lads. Even though the score line showed a bit of a hammering they never gave up and kept going right to the end.

Agreed him and O'Shea were stand out players for Exeter.hEaLeR wrote:I counted at least 7 from their first team squad (if you go by the Exeter website).

Good to hear that! It is the kind of culture our club needs to get back tojoes dad wrote:Agreed him and O'Shea were stand out players for Exeter.hEaLeR wrote:I counted at least 7 from their first team squad (if you go by the Exeter website).
