Searched social media for KO time, in the end, had to telephone the club to find its 1 pm

So it's not the reserves, it's the Under-23's, apparently. Certainly doesn't seem to be any first team squad players in the line up. And they're 4-0 down at half time to what I assume is a non-age restricted Exeter side.

Jon Palmer describes it as reserves on twitter and we are 6-0 down.

Lost 7-1 in the end, but was an Under-18s team v Exeter's three pros and mainly U23s, so mismatch really.

Wondered why it was so one-sided, that explains.

Anyone know who scored our goal?

Good experience for the kids. I wonder if it is a new strategy by Duff to play the kids in these games to see who sinks and who swims, as part of planning for 2-3 years down the line.

I counted at least 7 from their first team squad (if you go by the Exeter website).

The Exeter left back Craig Woodman has 500 odd senior appearances alone. It was a mamouth task and a big learning curve for our lads. Even though the score line showed a bit of a hammering they never gave up and kept going right to the end.

A tidy left back who can use both feet, but nothing special.

Agreed him and O'Shea were stand out players for Exeter.

Nice to see MD, RM, Bookie and some 1st teamers watching.

Good to hear that! It is the kind of culture our club needs to get back to
