I've been quite critical of the team in recent weeks but there was a noticeable improvement yesterday it has to be said. We had our first choice defense and we never really looked like conceding so the team and manager deserve a lot of credit for that. I also like the look of Varney and Barnett up top for the remainder of this season (keeping Tyrone is a priority I feel). The problem for me was midfield, Winchester and Archibald were their two best players and would walk into our team. I expect 3-4 new signings in January and we need a central midfielder who can pull the strings because we are sorely lacking there right now. Second priority should be at least one pacey winger if we are going to persist with 4-4-2.
